What Ratio does
Ratio provides accounting, bookkeeping, VAT, Corporate Tax, payroll and financial advisory services to businesses in the UAE, from an office in Abu Dhabi. Most clients start with a monthly engagement covering the books and both filing deadlines, then add advisory work as they need it.
Keeping the books straight
The recurring work: transactions recorded, accounts reconciled, and a set of figures that is ready before anyone asks for it.
Meeting the FTA deadlines
Registration, computation and filing for the two deadlines every UAE business now carries, plus the e-invoicing mandate arriving in 2027.

Where the numbers stop being a compliance obligation and start informing a decision.
How an engagement starts
- 1
A conversation
Twenty minutes on what you run, how many transactions and entities, and which deadlines are close.
- 2
Scope and proposal
What is included each month, what sits outside it, and who will handle your file.
- 3
Handover and first close
Access to your systems, the prior records reviewed, then the first monthly close on schedule.
Not sure which of these you need?
Most people do not arrive knowing whether their problem is bookkeeping, tax or reporting. Describe what is happening and we will tell you which it is, including when the answer is that you do not need us yet.
